In Our Silent Holocaust

In our silent holocaust
we sit n toil
under the lost
we ponder the spoil
ponder the toll
of our inner minds eye
within our silent holocaust
sitting in our quiet graves
bury each an idea of hope
each a concept of what would be
what we would see
in ourselves
a tear for what could be
a sigh for the wraith
as our inner eye blurs
faith
spirals our deepest pain
the clouds are dark with burden
as we sit in our silent holocaust
we ponder the lying
a line of stones
we watch his gaze
grow dark
with burdens of a nation
covering our silent holocaust
we ponder the vast ruin landscape
of ideology and mortality
and cast asunder to heaven
rage
as we sit, prey why
questions the survival of our insanity
as we dwell deep
in our silent holocaust
unknown by all
unseen seen by none
only loved by one
we are all alone
in our silent holocaust
