In Our Next Lifetime
Losing you could not have left,
A more tragic scar on my well being,
I used to fall asleep and dream,
That you were well and alive,
But every time the sun hits the horizon,
I can't help but cry,
Hard,
Long,
And uncontrollably.
Where does our future go now?
Everyone tells me don't worry,
“You can't sit and stress.”
But if they knew how deep the love,
They’d be just as depressed.
I love you more than anything,
You taught me more than many things,
And when I meet you in the afterlife,
Promise you'll never leave my side.
