In Our Bed
Another cold night
Alone in our bed
Its the long lonely nights
I've come to dread
It hasn't been that long
Since you were here
In my loving arms
Warming our bed
But God said it was time to go
Why you and not me
I'll never know
Only shadows in our bed
Your essence haunts our room
I reach for you
But you're not there
In your place on our bed
I look for the day
When I leave our room
And come to join you
In our bed
