Notes About The Poem

My grandfather can't hear a thing sometimes! I feel sorry for him as that must be very difficult to deal with! This poem is for him!

In Need of a Hearing Aid

My grandfather can’t really hear
He should have an aid in his ear
No sound that is found
Can he listen profound
And see that the noise can appear

A great poem on hearing loss but I have noticed some folks do have selective hearing some times no matter if they wear an aid or not lol. I have 50% hearing loss in one ear and had 2 scans to check i didn't have a brain tumour (the second one was to check i really had a brain as they must have read some of my poems lol) I didn't realise how much I was missing out on conversations until I got my aid fitted:-) hugs jan xx
