In Nature's Cradle
Oh! Scintillating wonders of nature,
The feelings, these my soul rapture,
To heights where I'm at ease,
Nothing else would my soul please,
I’m thrilled at this juncture.
We create, wield and torture,
Gloom permeates, sad tunes our hearts puncture,
We wonder when will anarchy cease,
Oh! Scintillating wonders.
The expanse and grandeur of nature, we can’t measure,
Our handiwork, an incomparable miniature,
I'll bask in as much moment as I can seize,
Drift and sway in its tease,
I'm awed by nature’s beauty and nomenclature,
Oh! Scintillating wonders.
