In My Words 1

The Lord is my rock and fortress strong
he is my strength and my salvation
and my high tower . . .  my safe harbor
the Lord saves me from the evildoers
from my enemies, my grief and sorrows
and from people who turn away from me
the Lord hears my tears in his temple
and sends me strength . . .  and his only son
Jesus helps me cast away the devil and all evil
and I stand tall because the Holy Trinity is my shield
of Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost
and I will not fail . . .   I will not be broken
those against me will become dust in the wind
to be castaway and become nothing
and Jesus will wrap me in his wings forever
