In My Soul

In my soul lies deep feelings. Some people can't comprehend or imagine. My soul bleeds for
the ones I love. And my mind sacrifices my goals for their happiness. Why must I be so
passionate for those who deprive me of my pride I give while they take..not caring to give
back. My soul..weak..vulnerable..open.. But they don't care..they never did... Stood there
and fed me lies until I was full of it.. Told me every sweet Melodie under the sun till I
started reciting them like my favorite song... You lied to me...I recognized that... Now
either fess up or keep it moving... Now people say my soul is cold and bitter.... I just
call it having a wall up... You say what you want... But on that day you come
back...crying till your eyes run dry.. I won't believe a word you say.... I can't believe
a word you say... I've heard It all before.. So for the first time i will not fall for
your lies.... And for the last time you will never take advantage of my kindness... I take
this to be a learning experience... And never again will I fall for the worlds' lies...
