In My Sleep
As I close my eyes a new view begins to play with in
Yet not a perfect world is portrayed
Where death and pain are no more
Infact I truly see myself in deeper struggle
As the eye meets an unknown realm I fear in reality as it seems so real
Again I sit alone in my room wondering of the day to follow
Alone; never again will I be for He promised to never forsake us and that always there he would be
As I fight to find my way in the pitch-black darkness He becomes my eyes my view
For the dark and the light affect His eyes none
And I go on, without question, without fear, with confidence in my heart
Many scenes take to play
At times I am alone
Other times in a crowd
Some of the times I too am famous
Perhaps and important person in this world
Yet there's so many things the heart desires
Images come and overtake my mind like a wild-fire
My eyes are stained by with broken scenes of life
In a dream long ago I saw her face
Beautiful, a creation of God just like all of us, yet He spent more time creating her
He named her Paula, and in my heart He wrote her name
Time his-self took me by the hand and guided me to her side
And I stand by her, holding her and kissing her to the point of painting her face
I wish to awake to her beautiful eyes every morning and kiss her cheeks
The time of weep is no more
Time to love, time to write and live
All of this comes to mind as I sleep
