In My Shoes

A mile in my shoes, Is only ten steps in your world , I have traveled many places, That would only get you to the front door, I have cried at times i should have smiled, And you continue to shed tears, I have put on happy faces near death, And you live your life with dark spirits, I have bare footed on coal, While you have traveled in style, I have walked on water to prove loyalty, And on one knee you refuse to bend, I have suffered all consequences of my actions, And you continue to run away from yours, I have used my hands to save lives, And with your you have stolen them, My eyes can see a future with more paths to take, While your eyes become blur of even the next day, Nothing you will ever do could compare to, The miles i have treaded in my shoes.
