In My Little Corner

I plunged into the opportunities of life

The world such a squeaky stage

I played with the players

Competing to be the best

Quantity and quality all mattered

So with energy it had to be mastered

And hitting the gym after all that kept me even further

From my little corner

My little dancing lamp

Where the pillow saved my words

And the blanket captured my strengths

Where the bed sheet was such a friend

And I had me, alone, in tune with me

Solace in solitude

In sheath and amplitude
