In My Heart and Soul

A feeling comes its just but a little ember inside my heart
It grows; it begins to glow
I feed it art and poetry
Colors that blind the poet in verse
As I a poet must write
I let my heart do all the talking; the writing
At times I find myself in question
Not anymore, I no longer shall be this pains-taking
As I drown in my own mind
Not a clear
I shall not hold it dear
I must not care to care
Then so be it
Alas I learn for pain is not pain when you walk with the Lord
Pardon me, as I walk
Let me love for love
And not for the world
I stand to my own heart
It sings, but if needed it will hum
Love is worth it all
But not drowning over it
In my heart and soul I love
