In My Heart and Soul

In My Heart and Soul

In my heart and soul thou shall always be,
Full of life, passion, and a real love for me.
By equal measure I give thee my love forever,
Knowing that God’s love shall desert us never.
Our freeborn spirits reflect a true cosmic pleasure,
With God’s promise of an eternal love to treasure.
What more could we as mortals hope to aspire to?

The same relevance and logic applies to to "God's promise" in the sixth verse. Both speak to a certain balance and symmetry regarding my intended message with this poem. Best Always, Gary
