In My Heart

In My Heart

In my heart lies a place
That the world can not erase
A place for you, a place for me
A gentle place for us to be

Shut the world and its confusion
Out from our lives, it’s my solution
Live in peace and harmony
Just the sky the grass and trees

We can make it if we try
Brush the world from our eyes
Erase the doubt that lies within
Turn the corner and start again

Outside influences controlled our way
Not anymore, it’s a brand new day
A day for us, a day for we
A glorious day if we believe

In my heart lies a place
That the world can not erase
A place for you, a place for me
If only in my mind, this sweet reality
