In My Hand

I can't find my keys Where did I put them? They're not on the hook Right by the front door So where could they be? I'll just look more I'm late again Surprise! surprise! Panic sets in. I can't think. Where are they? God help me! He does. They're here! Thanks!

Well, you've captured an everyday occurence for me, Karen ... LOL ... if it isn't the keys its my glasses or a slip of paper or something to seemingly change my sunny (?) disposition into a snarl ... smile ... wonderful writing. So glad you're here at the Soup!!

This poem brought back a very precious memory that has been lost for about 40 years - My grandmother was making me a quilt and she couldn't find her glasses anywhere and my sister and I were helping her search for them - She pulled her hand out of her apron pocket and pointed at the table and said "I know I put them right there" I replied "Grandma they are in your hand" - we all laughed so hard - Thank you Karen for helping find that memory - God Bless you

I have this attention deficit and a procrastinator attitude that doesn't allow me to accomplish anything unless it's a panic situation. This poem could be me. God Bless. Vince
