In My Dreams

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: In My Dreams
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: February/2014

You tango
inside
my
dreams,

passionately,

and
alone -

The
way you
move

across
the floor

with such
allure -

It's
haunting -

I reach
for
your hand,

to
dance

and
you're gone -

I tell
myself,

this woman
with
the long
raven
hair,

only
exist
in my
dreams -

I wish
you
could walk,

 from
this veil
of
mystery,

and
Tango
into
my heart -

And
at
long last

we'll
be
together,

embraced
as one -

I love you -
