In My Absense

Cheer not the day for I shall walk no more
Pave the path of glory, shall I return for my business to finish
Fear shall rise, and it will speak of again of my demise
Aplaud not, as I see all from my stand point
Death herself sees her downfall soon, to be honest very soon
One whom looks but doesn't see is blind
Alike one whom is born to never see the light
The trees have witnessed all forth-coming and passed
Will you read the pages of my heart
Again be alert that blood is still fresh
For the wound that keeps on hurting is one that only death will cure
Write upoon my stone of my art
Sing and read poetry so that my soul may find joy in the time-less rhyme
For once my skeleton takes steps it will be but late
Let my grave be the lock between you and I
For tomorrow all shall die
Vast oceans, ideas and dreams all standing in line
Death cuts infront and they all vanish just as they appeared
O' counted days still lay ahead
Fear of not knowing.....paints the scene
Open your eyes I command thee
See yee not the man, but the will that rages inside
My heart, alas I sleep
