In Minutes Ending
IN MINUTES ENDING
I dreamt being pierced,
By a thousand broken pieces,
A thousand glass pieces,
And a thousand broken promises.
Darling, I am not one to stare back,
At savoured life, at life with cracks,
Darling,
And if my dream is at anytime valid,
I want you to dance to the tune of my end.
From a complete stranger to a vow,
I love you for the rest of my life friend.
A lifetime of joy, years in the making,
A dream a second, in minutes ending.
Bid me bye, give me your last hug,
Say I love you, for one last time,
Pat my back, wake me up from this dream,
So long, kiss me for one last time.
