In Memory of Mother
Hearing stories sleeping on her soft lap
Hugging her at night for a blissful nap
Before I left for school food was ready
before bus came she would make me ready
Playing in mud clothes full of dirty stain
Next day dazzling clean, no complain of strain
I knew food would be ready before time
She was perfect, all task done in time
No help, no gadgets, did all on her own
Played with us, she would never ever frown
With all my problems to her I would run
She solved all of them, life was so fun
Lost her to cancer when I was just ten
Without her life was never same again
