We who have survived past the "average" age all too frequently lament those who didn't, and long for a path we cannot retrace. Very nice poem.

This poem is so beautifully expressed. Feeling the loss of family or our children we seldom see or hear from grips the heart in grief. I can relate. Congratulations on your deserving first placement Tamra. Blessings, Connie

Tamra, I like this poem. You've managed to capture the nostalgic moments when we travel back down Reminiscing Lane. A trip I take all too often. -Richard

Hi Amato, yes, the older we get, the more loss in our lives. Even when young, folks move on, disappear and take different paths. This neat poet got to me. Well done.
