a stunning attack at Garrisa University College in Kenya.
You were my friends
we never met
148 innocent young men and women
each with hopes and dreams
extinguished like a candle, in a patch of early morning light.
This can't be happening
148 individuals
each with families and friends
names and faces
stories with details and beliefs
You will never read these lines
about you.
148 Christians executed.
Martyred in a majestic silence
