In Memory

Today is that festival day, O dear !
I wait and anxious for that greeting card
Which you send giving me joy and
Pleasure of your love and affection
	And sense of belonging,
A gesture, sustaining our bonds for years.
Now I vainly wait for that sort of good wishes
On festival days to boost my spirit to soar high
And enjoy life, finding someone so cares for me,
Now I can’t bear to nip my such feelings
For which I crave on happy occasions
To fill me with hopes and a carefree life.
How I suffer and how much can I weep
Shackled, bearing all the angst and anguish
You suffered in your conscious life.
Yet you cannot fix the time of your departure
	Like Bhishm Pitamah,
To get released from the shackles of life’s woes
Though now with very little hope, I wish
To receive your message of good wishes
As you did till near past, bringing some life in my life.
I can not now hold my tears and anguish
And how lonely and deserted I find my self
	Without you, my dearest brother!
