In Loving Memory
In loving memory
Of an amazing friend, lover, father, brother, and son
How do we even begin to find the words to say goodbye
To someone who filled so many lives with so much love
We keep asking ourselves why
Even though we know you're watching over us from above
For all of us here that you left behind
There's alot of heartache and pain
But we'll keep you alive in our hearts and in our mind
Deep down we know an amazing angel God did gain
Not a day goes by that we dont think of you
And wish we could have just a little more time
Even though we know it's something we can't do
We try to find a little comfort in this rhyme
Coming together to share our memories of you
Saying goodbye as we lay you to rest
We can't help but shed a tear or two
As you are proof, God really does only take the best
Still it seems so unreal
And almost impossible to let you go
Praying to God for the strength to heal
Cuz without you we just dont know
How to get up and get thru another day
So many say it just takes time
Right now it feels like there's just no way
But we find the words to say we're fine
But each day without you is as hard as the day before
Cuz there's no-one that could ever take your place
As time goes by we'll miss you more and more
And in our hearts you'll always hold a special place!!!!
