In Loving Lullaby
The hymns of harmony
Refer to me alas—
With gallant glowing glee,
And shiny silver glass.
Scintillant starry streaks
Of light cleverly hide
The wakefulness we seek
Between The Worlds' divide.
And fumes that Gods inhale
Will perforate my mind.
The fragrance very frail,
With ecstasy entwined!
And Logic WILL protest
Insisting: "Oust with dreams!"
Yet blatantly we’re blessed
With soporific gleams.
Now rest your head anew,
Below the starry sky.
And I will sing to you,
In loving lullaby.
