In Love

I have you in my arms
Every night, although you’re far away
Safe, protected and warm
I wish all hours could be this way
No need to weep
I fall asleep

I have you in my dreams
Every night, although you’re not here
I can run it seems
There’s nothing that I fear
Nothing bad
I feel glad

This exile eats energy
Every night I cry and dream
I want to yell: It’s me!
I want to kick and scream
Hold me tight
Tonight

I need the hope to know
Every day, that one day we will kiss
I need you, love, to show
This is not all there is
That love will win
Within
