In Limbo
As I tiptoe down life’s
highway,
My conscious reminds
of past falls.
Now I’m at a crossroad
afraid to move.
I’m terrified of a fatal
fall.
What if I fall and can’t get
up again?
I don’t know what to do,
my feet feel like lead.
All of dreams must be
put on hold.
Because I’m stuck in
limbo,
I can’t move forward,
not even an inch.
