The desire for profit seems to be man’s motivation. No doubt the planet will prevail and she will not miss mankind.

I've no idea of whom but, I know that we must collectively do something. These beautiful beings must be preserved. A well-penned Haiku.

This is an important haiku with many species on the verge of extinction. The whales couldn't have a better voice on their behalf, Harry, and I join you in this effort. Perhaps one day I'll meet "Crescent Moon," the whale I adopted decades ago. Best wishes for a happy New Year, my friend! Love, Carolyn
