In It For Keeps

I want a man that will commit
And knows how to show it
He's not afraid of giving love
It's what his heart should be made of
Loving one another can be so satisfying 
If done so without any lying
I have to trust and believe 
For love is a sacred gift to receive
I need someone who is in it for keeps 
Not only for a couple of weeks
I tell myself this again and again
As I ask, how much longer until then?
