In His Words
I knew thee;
Before you were even born
And though son you've got lots of questions
Don't worry your mind, I've got it all figured out
I'd start with sorry for making you hemophilic
I've seen how it weighs down on you alot
And even though I can't take that back
I'm always trying to give you a way to live with that
I've seen how strong you are
Stronger than what you give yourself credit for
Maybe it's because I made you humble
You were never one to take credit
I've been with you when you taking every blow
Been with you in that hospital bed,
where you felt helpless for four months
And had to depend on crutches ever since
At times it's hard to see you struggle
Seeing you fight to pull yourself together
When everything is just falling on you
You remained steadfast in your course
I've seen you take blame as if it was yours
In hope that maybe that would give you peace
Only for you to hurt some more,
and in the eyes of people seen as the enemy
Their are many things I'd want to tell you
But I'm afraid you not ready for it all
I just wish that you forgave yourself a little bit more
So that you can live life a little bit more
