In His Image
I might have known God from a young age
But it took me time to chose to be around Him
It was hard cause life had already taken me through its storms
But the only thing that wasn't shook was love
That love is what helped me see through your eyes
And see a soul I could grow life knowing
It was like this soul had always been there just not near me
But when we crossed paths, for the first time in life I wasn't lost
Cause I'd walked many paths before
They were all similar, but with this new path
Everyday is something new to awe to
And that's why I'm still treading this path with you
So when it came to knowing you
I just found myself wanting to be around you all the time
And that's where I believed in God's presence
Cause he's image in you is all I wanted to be seen with
