In His Eyes
The artist's signature was inscribed behind the picture frame,
And everyone that viewed this art tried to guess his name,
No one thought to turn it around to see his name on the back,
They were so focused on the beauty of the picture they saw within the glass,
Unknown, the picture sat, and one by one they came,
No one mentioned the artist name or looked behind the frame,
Until one day, a little girl with much curiousity,
Took the picture off the wall and turned it around to see,
No one dared to take it off the wall for fear of what someone might say,
But that bold little girl just didn't care, she had to know his name,
The beauty of that picture moved her heart inside,
And she did not care who saw her to know her artist's eyes.
