In Golden Slumber
Rest now in golden slumber
As shadows fall away
Your dreams to unencumber
The worries of the day
Sleep now as velvet fire
Adorns the evening sky
As Swifts and Nightjars choir
A peaceful rock-a bye
Rest now in golden slumber
Still cradled by the sun
As moon beams by the number
Are counted one by one
Off to nod, you go, I hear the Sandman creeping
Off to nod, you go, he knows you should be sleeping
