In God's Hands

I could fret and worry just about every day
But instead I choose just to kneel down and pray
I could let my anger build and build
But instead I ask God what He willed

I could lose myself in so much anxiety
But I ask the Lord to keep me free
I could even lose site of my role
But ask God to protect my soul

At anytime, I could give it all up for lost
But for I know that Jesus already paid that cost
I could walk around with a chip on my shoulder
But on the third day, the Lord removed that boulder

I could remain sour with each passing hour
But instead, I choose to give God the power
For I choose to just let the Lord lead the way
And them I listen to what He has to say

Yeah, I could turn away from another in need
But I have a purpose for each and every deed
I just place them all in God's Hands
For He is the only One who truly understands
