In Front of the Tv

In front  of  the  TV  
So happy
Sitting down lazily  

Nothing more to do
1, no 2
Hours fly by
Sitting there wasting time

Family left unnoticed  
My eyes focused  
On the wrong thing
At the  wrong time

In front  of the TV  
Alone 
Let me be
Hours tick by on the clock
TIME WILL NEVER STOP

All the time I waste
Nothing accomplished  
By me
Look how lazy
Oh my just look at me!

Tim Smith May 26, 2016 at 8:29 AM It is nice to have some lazy time but as a Dad I love it when my kids make suprises for me. Like arts and crafts or do a chore they weren't assigned. Lovely poem.
