In Faithful Waters
Whatever shall become of me
I know that God has a Hand in it
I shall not glory
As He is glorified
I shall not be dampened
As He is the lifter of one's spirit
I shall not bow
As He is the only One who can make me bow
And only for Him
I cannot show down
As He said "do not dare me"
Did He say that?
Many times
To me
I shall not bear
As He said "leave the burden on Me"
I shall not see, hear anything that is not of His guidance, spirit
I shall trot, walk
in faithful waters
And not getting my feet wet
How do I do that?
I shall fly high and wide
Like an eagle in the sky
And spread my wings
As He is with me
What more can I share?
I shall do, sew, make the crooked place smooth
Ahh I cannot do such thing
But He can
I shall moo, boo, woo
Nah
None of the others
But I will be shooed
As God does not make the mocker out of man
So I will learn
And know that He is the one who is God
Do I know?
