In Control

How do you get control of a past that went so a rye
By letting other people know that your not that person and you just lie,

Getting over obsessive with all the things that make you feel in control
You tell yourself I am doing what I can but, then it starts to take hold,

Like a vine you can't free of and keeps on wrapping you tight
The more you seek control the vine has you wanting to fight,

Trying to get free of a mental obsession
Will not be easy due to the fact you are making it your profession,

Believing if you have a degree in this field
That makes you fell better than everyone so you don't yield,

It will not erase the horrible past
Unfortunately no matter how hard you try it will not last.
