In Christ Alone I Make My Stand

"In Christ alone I make my stand,
There by the power of Christ I stand."***

"In Christ alone I make my stand,
There by the power of Christ I stand!"
No other one, nor no other name can
Be strong enough! Upon which I
Make my stand! I claim the power
Of the Son of Man! I claim the
Power of the Son of God!***

The Son of God is my defender of
My Faith. The Son of Man takes
His beloved daughter by her hand.
By His power alone have I been
Set free. And only because He
Has set me free, am I freeborn
Indeed forever more! ***

"I need no other argument and I
Need no other plea." I rest my
Case upon the founding Rock
Of Ages of my Faith. In Him
Alone am I resting eternally
And completely secure!
Everlasting and forever more!***
