Inane mind games confront us and whilst they do not nonplus, a waste of time to engage, in manoeuvres to upstage. We see now why monks retire in solitude, for they tire of such shallow subterfuge, for God is their soul’s refuge. Yet if it is so ordained, our tranquil eye is not strained by life’s game of push and pull, for we’re with bliss nectar full. 18-July-2022

In, but not of this world is fine for monks and ascetics... As for my People Israel and me, we have our heads in Heaven, but our feet our firmly grounded on this earth. ~ Dynamic Tension, gw

Yes I agree Unseeking Seeker. I love ~We see now why monks retire in solitude. There is so much beauty in solitude and I know you are aware that silence speaks a beautiful language all its own. Blessings, Susan :)
