In Better Hands Now

They'll try to stay longer,

at least til we're stronger,

at least til we know,

that if they're staying here,

just for us,

then its better that they go.

Its better that they leave a world,

that causes so much strain.

And, its better that they say goodbye,

Goodbye to all the pain.

So, there will be no more wheeled chairs,

or canes, or pills.

There will be no more worries,

no drama, no bills.

And, although they'll think of us,

and we'll hold them in our hearts,

their time here is over,

for they've been given a new start,

with none of the pain,

that they lived through here,

with none of the heartache,

no tears, no fear,

with no concerns of the when,

no more figuring out the how,

GOD has the reigns,

and they're in better hands now.
