In Awe of the Earthly Terrorists

What is AWE?
It is like the gasping for breath –
Inhaling the smog filled air
It is like being frozen in time and
Suddenly waking
as the ice sheets melt under your feet
It is like the fluttering of your heart
At the birth of something new
Like our mutant renditions of biology
It is like the calming of humility
When gazing out on God’s painted sky
Tho humility is abscent in
The presence of imperity
It is like the sudden intensity of excitement
Just before surprise
Will we be surprised when it’s
GONE???
It is like the noticing of each grain of sand
Being distinguished between your toes
WE. DO. NOT.
distinguish what is
EXTINCT
It is like the warmth of intimacy
That blankets your skin
Delicate
Gripping
Needed
We are such wasteful violators holding nature in contempt!!!
It is like the impeccable sensation of fear
Instentaneously becoming a
Welcoming of ease
When all you LOVE is safely guarded from distress
We do not LOVE this earth
No one can guard this earth
We are such hypocrites!!!
We are the TERRORSTS
Wanting to be AWED
