In Awe

IN AWE

The water ripples and shimmers from the long awaited breeze.
God whispers His nearness in the fluttering of the leaves.
I turn and look but no one is there,
And yet I feel His presence so near.

The winds get stronger and dark clouds come in sight,
They overwhelm my senses as I behold His might.
The heavens overtake me and I feel His embrace,
The rain sprinkles drops of hope on my face.

The drought in the land and the drought in my soul
Is being replaced…My God is in control.

Even when times are difficult, it's His Will, not ours that we need to accept. In the long run, everything will be okay. God Bless. Vince
