In Arms

Besides our promise 
          brother in arms 
incarcerate – divide us 
mentally inside us 
with us – in our company 
killing time – they waste our lives 
Poison our present – sabotage sanity 
but friendship survives 
and as long as we are both alive 
          brother in arms 
a promise will never die.

It might seem a little selfish and juvenille to say, but I need to be validated as an artist, and a unique expressive human. That is why I needed this site.
