Notes About The Poem

In Anger Tinged With Pain

make love to me in anger tinged with pain
for death is lurking near my soul to reap
the world is closing in, I can't keep sane
at time of death these thoughts alone I'll keep

of right to live my life, they will deprive
a darkness drenched in doom enshrouds my mind
make love to me and let me feel alive
there in your arms is where I solace find

Make love to me in frenzy's maddened pace
my body ravage now to match my soul
sear all from eyes except your angel face
Make love to me and try to make me whole

For death will come with lightening speed I know
What is this life? My thoughts are left to seethe
Rebellion pumps my heart and makes blood flow
make me forget the need to even breathe

Make love to me and let me die tonight
my final taste of life, let it be love
and should I meet with death by morning light
let starlight eyes then take me up above

Make Love to Me....

Eileen

There is no coping mechanism...
there is only fear....anger...and a desire to live.

"My body ravage now to match my soul..." A desperation of the heart that only lust can satisfy my Beloved Poetess...this poem's furious passion is all about ecstacy of being in love's oblivion...your intensity is burning me up! Your warrior motto lights the beauty of your eyes tonight. A FAV! J.A.B. The photo is above is very romantic, and dire.

We live in a dire world, Justin. There is death at every corner. I want to live before I die. I cannot waste any moment. It may be my last.........that is the secret behind the photo I chose for my poem.

You are so insightful. Yes, the "ecstasy of being in love's oblivion" has a healing effect, Eagle. I admit to a fierceness in my soul. The warrior woman is ever present. Thank you for your lovely post. I enjoy reading your thoughts. Hugs

Be close with the one you love. Hold and comfort each other. That is the way we dream going out.

I have often imagined the intensity of love making during times of war. That eruption of pleasure experienced when two people don't know if they will ever be together again. That haunted wanting that bubbles up from the depth of their souls. This goes a long way to describe that desperate need to cling to each other.

That's how I feel, Richard. If death is just around the corner....I want to live life to the extreme. I want to live live live...and love love love before my time comes. That's where this poem came from. Thank you for understanding...Hugs.
