IN AND OF THE PLOWING OF DEMOCRACY

 

Poor democracy,

Germinating and spoiling:

Reaping her, denied:-

Her fruits are picked and destroyed;

And their seeds are all mashed up:-

 

Democracy’s seeds

Are well known for rebirthings,

And eternal fruits.

Let’s find, sow, and plow such seeds:

Reaping ripe fruits of equity:-
