In All of Heaven's Grace
I wipe the tears from my eyes, past pain seems staid at last,
as a sweet handsome poet makes me smile... oh so far away,
and yet you are the closest by far.
My smile, which you inspire is as innocent as any child's smile would be.
Who are you that helped to release my writer's hand?
You are a bright light in this desert's wild land.
In this time and place, in a world where it is so hard to escape the
masks that are placed upon my face. Here in a world where there is
poison of doubt and unbelief... poison that is upon the lying lips of a people
whose own dreams of love are thrown away so easily.
In my own dreams of enlightened mirth and youth, you and I both drink
from the cup of God's truth.
I feel your presence quite near, a companion who comes to me in all of
Heaven's Grace.
Your eyes look into my heart. Close, close friends throughout all of time, throughout
all of space... you who treats all of my senses like a crystal palace.
