(This poem may also be read backward, from the bottom up)
In a world where I do not exist
There's a place where I'm yet to enlist
Where my yearning cannot be dismissed
And my soul reaches out to be kissed
One day there, where I will re-exist
After crossing that bridge in the mist
(If life's demons I chose to resist)
Lifted high through that Heavenly midst
There, my loved ones hold hands and subsist
On that day, I will join them, assist
In rejoicing the peace we had missed
To this new world, my efforts persist
