In a world of shadows, where dreams intertwine with unfulfilled desires
In a world of shadows, where dreams intertwine with unfulfilled desires
In a world of shadows, where dreams intertwine with unfulfilled desires,
where the bonds between souls stretch and twist like silken vines,
I find my heart wandering among echoes of memories and extinguished sighs,
seeking happiness in someone else's smile, in a glance or a word,
but as often promised happiness is just a mirage on the sands of time,
and relationships turn into labyrinths of mirrors where we lose ourselves,
I wonder if true happiness resides in the silence between heartbeats,
in the quiet of forests where trees whisper their stories to the ear of the wind,
where souls can rest, far from the tumult of the restless and unforgiving world,
and I wonder if happiness might be a state of being, rather than having,
a dance of light and shadow where we find our fragility and strength,
where every step is a moment of grace, a flight on the edge of eternity,
for in our connections with others we discover our vulnerability and need for love,
but also the path to ourselves, to the essence that asks for nothing,
only to be, to feel, to live in peace with all that is and will never be.
