In a world of shadows and sounds that break

In a world of shadows and sounds that break, Where thoughts flow like a river seeking its course, I'm enveloped by the scent of a trembling memory, Like a pale light on the falling autumn leaves. I feel myself collapsing into the abyss of silence, Where echoes of the past whisper stories Of lost happiness and stolen smiles, In a fragile dance of melancholy and regret. You, my love, have been both anchor and wing, In the tumultuous sea of a troubled life, And now, when the waves of madness swallow me, Only the warmth of your presence remains my shield. With every moment unraveling into eternity, I feel a stranger in my own skin, But I know that you, with your boundless kindness, Have woven joy and pain into the song of my heart. I can no longer fight the winds that break me, Nor the voices that demand their toll in the night, And I withdraw now, like a fading dream, Leaving behind only the bitter scent of love. You, my beacon in life's storms, If anyone could have saved me, it would have been you, But now, as the waves engulf me, I release you, my love, from my burden. In this last letter of my soul, I want you to know that all my joys were yours, And if two souls were ever happier, Know that we were those, even in the coming darkness.
