In a universe of shadows, my steps diverge from the crowd
In a universe of shadows, my steps diverge from the crowd,
as if walking on a sea of glass, each shard reflecting
a world that was once whole.
Independence, a bird with silver wings,
rises from the ashes of conformity, and I, with a trembling heart,
dare to speak words that burn like flames,
words that cover my skin with a veil of shame,
but that dance with the truth.
Friends and familiar faces gather like storm clouds
over the sky of my love, watching me with eyes full of doubt,
but I continue my journey, for in my soul I carry a star
that shines only when I distance myself from the shore.
In this purifying flame, my talent melts,
transforms, redefines itself, becoming a silent music
that sings my name in a language only I understand.
In this passage through fire, I find myself again,
like a sculpture coming to life under the hands of an unseen artist,
each hammer blow, each touch of time's chisel
revealing a self I never knew.
And though the path is strewn with shadows of doubt and fear,
I continue on, for only thus do I become more
than the sum of the expectations of those around me.
Thus, I venture through this sea of fire and light,
with a soul burning like a torch in the night,
for only in this way can I truly become my own,
a dreamer in the valley of shadows,
a seeker of truths hidden beneath the dust of time,
in a world where each step is a new beginning,
a new chance to find myself, to be free.
