In a Tunes Eye

Clouds are dark and dreary
I see a melody in my eyes
A tune of misery in my soul
I'm doomed - it may snow
I reckon I do believe
The who I got to know
Once was in my mind a fiery
The darkened womb within
As the night starts to darken
And a pregnant star gives birth
A new seed - shining sharp
The note - music to my ears
The eve a beauty with the harp
And the muse plays - I rest
I pace myself - The song exists
The dreary little cloud that spoke
Whispering pain in thoughts
The night then fell to fog
And now in the AM - morn broke
I put it all to a test in my head
Would I rather be with sun instead
A warm dilemma piercing me thick
I see the hues - the rays of poesy
I n my head - I made good use of time
Misery they say loves company
I shared a rune - I now sublime.
