Deep into meditation I finally let loose useless desires - those desires that in the end have been so meaningless I feel myself lost in a moment - which to one like me implies always being caught up in things for which no catching up is needed except in others’ expectations for me In my mind’s eye, am I seeing God? Love for everyone floods my body. In a moment of cessation, bliss blossoms

Dear Andrea, Amen, and loved your meditative words. God fills us with his love, hope, and mercy, and all he asks is that we love him with all our heart and meditate on his words. - Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Indeed, your reflections are deep. Yet can anyone see God? I doubt it, but we must always think about Him.

Andrea, this is very deep, personal, and expressive. I think it's likely you ARE "seeing" God. Janice

What a beautiful and serene poem this is, dear Andrea, it calls to my heart spiritually! When everything feels to be flowing in the essence of time and we are able to reserve a moment for our souls, while experiencing true bliss ~ isn't it a blessing!? Our higher selves are the most wise beings alive and by attaining the divine light, we are able to radiate love for all... "In a moment of cessation, bliss blossoms" Such a gorgeous ending. Loved reading this! Best of luck for the contest ~

Sounds like you had a bonafide zen moment. The bad news is: reality always trumps. Nice poem though
